Happy New Year, everyone! Hope your holidays were fabulous and your year is off to an amazing start.
You might remember me mentioning that I was knee-deep in some scrapbooking projects in December. One of those was the annual calendar I make every year (since 2004) for my parents, brother, sister and myself. The twist this year was that I did it digitally - and it was a blast. Given my IT background, digital is a perfect fit for me. Don't really know why I haven't tried it before (maybe it was all that stuff I have!). I've been a hybrid scrapper since Day 1 - but this was my first attempt at all digital layouts.

My theme this year was heritage photos of my Dad's family, my Mom's family and of their courtship. I made 13 layouts with PSE 6 for the MAC and had the calendars produced through iPhoto (calendar is 13x10). I was VERY pleased with the quality of the calendars. And the best part was that the colors on paper looked exactly as they did on my laptop screen.
