Very exciting news today!
I have been working with Anna Aspnes to create a new product line of card printables - with options for both the traditional card-maker and all-digi scrapbooker. I am thrilled to announce our first release - two fun Halloween cards made with Anna's gorgeous products. Having been an avid traditional cardmaker for several years, it has been fun to try my hand with a different set of tools. Anna's art is so compelling, creative, gorgeous and fun - it strikes me as something that can be framed and highlighted as a focal image on a card - much like I did with stamps in traditional card-making.
This card is the hybrid version of Something Wicked. Instead of stamping the images, they are printed on your home computer, but then embellished with fun jewels and glitter paper elements to make a layered card. There's even an inside greeting to print for this one, too.
There are two styles for each card:
KardPrintz Hybrid This product style includes .jpg files to print at home, and detailed instructions for printing and trimming the digital components of the card, and then assembling them with traditional crafting supplies to create a hybrid card.
KardPrintz Digital This product style includes .jpg files to print the card at home or at Shutterfly, a layered .psd file for easy customization, as well as detailed step-by-step instructions for both.
So, if you are new to hybrid card-making or just want a quick and fun Halloween card, give these a spin. You can always make it "yours" with your own touch of custom embellishments. The option to have the digi version printed for you by Shutterfly makes quick work of a card when you need multiple copies as in a holiday greeting card or party invitation.
All these products will be arriving in Anna's store at Oscraps today.
Something Wicked - hybrid and digital
A second Halloween card we are offering is The Witch Is Out - hybrid and digital.
To celebrate this new introduction, I am giving away 2 KardPrintz products. Please leave a comment telling me what kinds of cards you like to make and send and I'll choose 2 random winners by Saturday, October 15 at noon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
